My Little Sicky

Today Easton woke up from his nap with one red spot about the size of a quarter on his cheek and a little warm. About 10 minutes later he turned bright red and his fever shot way up. I ran him into the doctor and by the time we got there he had welts all over and was scratching his head and crying that his "hair hurt". The doctor said that it looked like hives, but since he had a fever it must be something viral. He did have a ear infection, so the doctor gave him an antibiotic and told me to just give him benadryl and something for the fever. Poor Baby.

After about a week I took him to a different Dr because he kept breaking out again. Turns out that he had Pityrasis Rosea, and it lasted FOREVER!!!! It is a viral infection that just has to run its coarse (about 14 weeks).
