Birthday Boys!!!!

Adam and Easton both had birthdays this month on the 14th and the 17th. Since Jason is working in North Dakota and was going to be gone for their birthdays we decided to celebrate them early. No complaint there, especially from Adam. Easton, we just told him it was his birthday that day, and then didn't do anything when the 14th came along.

We all went out to eat that night and then stopped at Walmart on the way home. I was so worried about getting their presents here in time for the early party, getting them wrapped and where to go for dinner that I forgot all about making a cake. So we had to buy a cake, Walmart has really yummy cakes over by the cheesecake in the bakery. At first Easton picked these fun colorful cupcakes, and I told Adam that we would come back and get him a cake on his real birthday. But Jason saw a turtle caramel chocolate cake that he wanted. So he told Adam that he could pick his own cake too and should him the one that he thought looked soooo good. Adam didn't want it. Plan Failed. Then he showed it to Easton, and luckily he quickly forgot all about those colorful cupcakes and chose the cake that Jason wanted. Success, Jason got one of the boys to pick the cake he wanted.

Easton wanted a "Buzz bideo game" and let EVERYONE know, several times a day for MONTHS. We got him the Mobigo and a Toy Story game. I did a lot of research and I think this is the best one for him. It is geared to younger children, down to age 3. With how much he comprehends it is great for him.

And of coarse Adam wanted an Ipod touch (he has been dying for one since March, when Renton got his). He has been playing it pretty much none stop since he got it. Judging by the look on his face, I would say that he was pretty excited.

and played their games. The next morning we barely got them to put them down long enough to eat breakfast. But they sure were quiet in the morning and it was nice to sleep in. Even Easton was quiet ALL morning.
