Well, I thought that is was about time to post something on the blog that I created about a month ago. We are now living in Rock Springs, Wyoming. It has taken some adjusting to the cold weather. When we moved here I had to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe. All I had were short sleeved t-shirts and light jackets. And then of coarse I had to get some cowgirl boots and some puffy vests.
We went to parent teacher conferences yesterday and am happy to say that the boys are doing WONDERFUL in school. They have adjusted well and really like the school, the neighborhood and friends that they have made. And most of all they LOVE the fact that they can WALK to school. The simple things that give them pleasure.
Today we found the Rec. Center and took the kids swimming. They had a slide there that Adam and Renton must have gone down 50 times each. Easton almost had a tantrum because he wanted to go down, but was too small. He enjoyed swimming anyway. I spent most of the time in the hot tub were it was nice and warm. The idea of getting into a cool pool and swimming when it is cold outside didn't sound enticing to me.
Jason is still working for Halliburton and is working towards getting into their engineering program to go to school and become an engineer. He took the test yesterday and should know in the next week if he passed, if he did then it is off to Texas to school for 3 weeks.
Well all is going well, I will try to keep up to date more and post some pictures next time.
